Fiona McIntosh

Fiona McIntosh is an Osteopath based in the West End of Glasgow. She graduated with distinction from the British School of Osteopathy and previously completed a BSc (Hons) at the University of St Andrews. She is trained in Cranial Osteopathy and modern acupuncture and uses a considered combination of cranial, functional and structural approaches. Treatment is adapted carefully to the individual in front of her.

Fiona’s clinical work focuses on adult musculoskeletal care as well as working with babies in the early months.  She also treats pregnancy-related pain and sports or activity-related injuries. Her approach is calm and patient-centred. Appointments are unhurried and treatment focuses on comfort and what is most appropriate.

Alongside her undergraduate training Fiona has completed extensive postgraduate study. This includes Cranial Osteopathy training with the Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy and movement-based training through the Joanne Elphinston Movement System and Anatomy Trains in Motion. Ongoing Continual Professional Development is an important part of her practice.

Outside the clinic Fiona enjoys swimming and keeping active outdoors. She also has a long-standing interest in theatre, art, film, books and travel.
