What is the difference between Osteopaths, Chiropractors and Physiotherapists?
NCOR (the National Council for Osteopathic Research) produced this summary report on the differences between Osteopaths, Chiropractors and Physiotherapists. The key message is that ‘…It is clear that there are many similarities between the three professions (although) the way they describe themselves highlights the differences in their approaches and their underpinning principles and philosophies’.
The report goes on to say that ‘the way the NHS describes the Osteopathic and Chiropractic professions is not necessarily how the professions view themselves’. More detail and definition of the differences between the professions are given in the report – click here
